Velayudham Audio Released Yesterday .It was not just another audio launch function. It was a show of strength of Vijay fans! ‘Ilaya Thalapathy’ Vijay’s ‘Velayudham’ movie’s audio launch function was held at Madurai last evening in an unusual manner amidst a huge gathering of his fans and supporters. The audio was released by one of the Vijay’s fans and received by another fan.
And few hours after the audio release Sony Run out of Stock.Limited edition finished at all the Sony Store.It's a great news for all Vijay Fans and music Lovers.Normal Stock also out, Sony has to re produce. Now Sony is going to produce MP3 CD's for Velayudham.
A galaxy of cast and crew of the film was also present including director Jayam Raja, Hansika Motwani, music director Vijay Antony, producer Aaskar Ravichandran and Vijay’s father S A Chandrasekar.
Vijay was moved by the love that was showered on him by the fans. A sea of fans and members of this mass actor’s ‘Makkal Iyakkam’ stood by the star telling him that they are there and ready to support his political aspirations. While speaking at the event Vijay thanked all his fans saying, “I’m the luckiest man on earth. I’m moved by your love and support and don’t know how to thank all of you for this. With this strength I’m sure we will definitely make a good change in the society and in the growth of our nation”.
‘Velayudham’ is features Hansika Motwani, Genelia D’ Souza, Santhanam, Saranya Mohan and M S Baskar in prominent roles. Jayam Raja has directed and Aaskar Ravichandran has produced it. ‘Velayudham’ is being released on Diwali day – 26 Ocotober!


SONY MUSIC SELLS ALL MUSIC CD’S ON THE 1ST DAY OF ITS LAUNCH!

August 28th 2011, Chennai: Sony Music Entertainment, a leading global music company and a dominant player in the South Indian music market, witnessed a never before launch as the company sold all the CD’s of the music awaited movie Velayudham on the first day of its launch. Adding to the excitement, Madurai had over 1 lacs fans who attended and cheered through the entire event.

Commenting on the successful launch and the huge crowd at Madurai, Ashok Parwani, Sony Music Entertainment Chennai, said, “We are overwhelmed with the response the movie and the music has received. Velayudham has broken all records and we have sold all our units within a day of its launch. The soundtracks are original, soulful and memorable. We’re sure that the compositions will go down in history as some of the best melodies of our times.”

Sony Music Entertainment tied up with one of the leading Radio channels of Tamil Nadu for this launch where the RJ chatted up exclusively with Vijay Anthony, the Music Director of Velayudham. During the one hour special session on the channel, thousands of Vijay’s fans tuned in to listen to the premiere of the music tracks while the director himself recounted his experiences during the recording. Additionally, Sony Music had launched an online pre booking offer which has also witnessed a tremendous response.

Velayudham directed by M. Raja stars Vijay, Hansika Motwani and Genelia D'Souza in lead roles. The movie is scheduled to launch (month) 2011

Sony Music plans to leverage its digital delivery infrastructure to ensure that all music lovers can access the Velayudham songs legitimately. These songs will be available through Nokia ovi store as well as through legal downloads on the internet. Sony Music is also leveraging its partnership with mobile operators to ensure that songs are available to the music lovers and fans as callberback ringtones and through other streaming avenues on the mobile plat

At last our thalabathi went in innova from the stage. Nearly 10 fans hanging on the side of the car and went. Police patrol was accompanied. Our thalaivar was in front seat showing hands to the fans. Semma gethu.


Our thalabathi said tat after this film raja va matra heros kothitu poiduvanga. And raja said none other than vijay could done this film. And this was his first audio release tat too in his native place.
