ஷாங்காய் திரைப்பட விழாவில் நடிகர் விஜய்

சீனாவில் நடைபெற்ற ஷாங்காய் திரைப்பட விழாவில் கலந்து கொள்ள சென்றிருந்த நடிகர் விஜய்க்கு சென்ற இடத்தில் சிறப்பான வரவேற்பு. ஆங்கில-சீன மொழி சப் டைட்டிலுடன் காவலன் திரைப்படத்தை அங்கு திரையிட்டார்களாம். ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியையும் விழுந்து விழுந்து சிரித்தபடி ரசித்தவர்கள் கடைசி இருபது நிமிட காட்சியை பார்த்து கண்கலங்கினார்களாம்.

படம் முடிந்ததும் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் விஜய் பேசினார். அப்போது கூறியதாவது-

வெளிநாடுகளில் நடைபெறும் திரைப்பட விழாக்களில் கலந்து கொள்வது இதுதான் முதல்முறை. ஷாங்காய் பட விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டது முற்றிலும் எனக்கு புது அனுபவம். நடிகர், மொழி, தேசம் இவற்றை கடந்து ஒரு நல்ல படம் எந்த நாட்டு மக்களையும் கவரும் என்பதற்கு இது சிறந்த உதாரணம். படம் பார்த்து முடித்தவுடன் என் கேரக்டரான பூமி என்ற பெயரை சொல்லி அவர்கள் என்னை பாராட்டியது மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும் பெருமையாகவும் இருந்தது. மொத்தத்தில் இது என் வாழ்நாளில் மறக்க முடியாத அனுபவம்.

உலக சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ஜாக்கிசானுக்கு இந்தியாவில் குறிப்பாக தமிழ்நாட்டில் ரசிகர்கள் அதிகம். நான் படிக்கும்போது அவருடைய படங்களை பார்த்து ரசித்திருக்கிறேன். இன்று அவரது ஊரில், நான் நடித்த காவலன் திரையிடப்பட்டது பெரும் பாக்கியமாக கருதுகிறேன். இங்குள்ள ரசிகர்களை என் வாழ்நாளில் மறக்க மாட்டேன்.

ஷாங்காய் திரைப்பட விழா சீனாவில் நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. இவ்விழாவில் விஜய் நடித்த காவலன் நேற்று (11.06.2011- ஞாயிறு) மாலை 4 மணிக்கு திரையிடப்பட்டது. ஆங்கில சீன மொழி சப்-டைட்டிலுடன் காவலன் திரையிடப்பட்டது. " சீனர்கள் பலர் ஆர்வத்துடன் படம் பார்த்தனர். ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியையும் ஆழமாக ரசித்ததுடன் காமெடி காட்சிகளில் விழுந்து விழுந்து சிரித்தது  எனக்கு ஆச்சரியத்தை தந்தது " என்று கூறினார் விஜய்.

படத்தின் கடைசி 20 நிமிடங்கள் அமைதியாக ரசித்த ரசிகர்கள் கண் கலங்கி உள்ளார்கள். படம் முடிந்ததும் அனைவரும் எழுந்து நின்று கைதட்டி பாராட்டியுள்ளார்கள். படம் பார்த்து முடிந்ததும், அவர்கள் மத்தியில் விஜய் பேசியபோது :

" வெளிநாடுகளில் நடைபெறும் திரைப்பட விழாக்களில் கலந்துக் கொள்வது இதுதான் முதல்முறை. ஷாங்காய் பட விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்டது முற்றிலும் எனக்கு புது அனுபவம். நடிகர், மொழி, தேசம் இவற்றை கடந்து ஒரு நல்ல படம் எந்த நாட்டு மக்களையும் கவரும் என்பதற்கு இது உதாரணம். படம் பார்த்து முடித்தவுடன் என் கேரக்டரான பூமி என்ற பெயரைச் சொல்லி  பாராட்டியது எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும், பெருமையாகவும் இருந்தது. மொத்தத்தில் என் வாழ்நாளில் இது மறக்க முடியாத அனுபவம்.

விஜய்யின் பேச்சு அனைவரையும் கவரவே, எழுந்து நின்று கைதட்டினார்கள். ஷாங்காய் திரைப்பட குழுவிற்கு, தென்னிந்திய நடிகர் சங்கம் சார்பாக விஜய் நினைவு பரிசை வழங்கினார். 'காவலன்' திரைப்படம் ஷாங்காய் திரைப்பட விழாவில் கலந்து கொள்ள உறுதுணையாக இருந்த திருமதி. ரேக்ஸ் அவர்களுக்கும் தமது உரையில் நன்றி தெரிவித்தார் விஜய்.

Our columnist Rekhs who had subtitled Kavalan and accompanied Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay to the Shanghai International Film Festival shares her experiences on the screening of film Kavalan and the adulation that Vijay and the film received at the festival.

Kavalan was screened at Cathay cinema, one of Shanghai's oldest and most popular cinema halls and it was a house full show. In fact all tickets for five shows of Kavalan were completely sold out. The show was called ‘meet and greet’ Vijay which started with Vijay’s speech which was translated to the audience.

VJ as Vijay is called fondly by everyone there, looked debonair and suave, spoke with a lot of feeling and emotion which was well received by the audience. The screening of Kavalan happened after the speech which had the English sub titles by Rekhs and also the Chinese subtitles below it.

The film was well enjoyed by the audience who surrounded him after the completion of the movie and the comments ranged from, “He is fantastic” to “He is hot” to “Bhoomi you rock!!!!” to “We love Indian films and never get a chance to see them” to “Why did he wait for so long to marry Meera ( film)? Some of the audience felt that Vijay is the Jackie Chan of India as he dances and fights very well.

Vijay's birthday falls on June 22nd and his fans usually celebrate it in a grand manner. But this year, Vijay requested them to refrain from lavish celebrations and to do their best to help the poor and needy. His fans took his message to heart and spent the entire month raising money for charitable causes.

Fan clubs across the length and breadth of the state did their best to help the downtrodden in their respective areas. Consequently, notebooks, textbooks, uniforms, school bags, stationary items, sairs, dhotis were distributed free of cost to those who needed them in the locality of various fan clubs. Top ten ranked students from a Government school were gifted with computers by Vijay Makkal Iyakkam leader, SA Chandrasekar.

Kudos to Vijay and his fans for their efforts!

While Ilaya Thalapathi's fans all over the state are gearing up with enthusiasm as the star's birthday falls on June 22, Vijay has something else to say.

Vijay sent out a press note asking fans not to celebrate his birthday in a grand manner and hype about it but rather do good deeds, help the poor and students.

Fans were overwhelmed by this and decided to proceed as per Vijay's words and chose to do good throughout June. In fact, in a day's time, ten of his fan clubs had distributed note books to children in North Chennai and clothes to the poor. Not just that, they also provided computers to ten top-ranking Government school tots.

While fans are busy doing nice things and trying to uplift the society, Vijay's father announced that on his son's birthday, we will witness good deeds that will be completely unexpected. We wonder what that will be.

Indeed an initiative that needs appreciation Vijay. Way to go...!

என் பிறந்தநாளை கொண்டாட வேண்டாம்: விஜய் வேண்டுகோள்

தனது பிறந்த நாளை ரசிகர்கள் யாரும் கொண்டாட வேண்டாம் என்றும் அதற்குப் பதில் ஏழை எளியவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யுமாறும் நடிகர் விஜய் கேட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளார்.

இதுகுறித்து அவர் வெளியிட்ட அறிக்கையில், "ஜூன் 22-ம் தேதி வரும் எனது பிறந்த நாளை ரசிகர்கள் யாரும் விமர்சையாக கொண்டாட வேண்டாம். அதற்குப் பதில் ஏழை எளிய மக்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யுங்கள் எனக் கேட்டுக் கொண்டார்.

இதைத் தொடர்ந்து இந்த ஜூன் மாதம முழுவதும் அவரது பிறந்த நாளையொட்டி நலத் திட்டங்களைச் செய்ய முடிவு செய்துள்ளனர் ரசிகர்கல்.

அதன்படி, வட சென்னையில் இன்று ஒரே நாளில் 10 விஜய் மன்றங்கள் 150 மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு நோட்டுப் புத்தகங்களையும், 75 ஏழைகளுக்கு இலவச வேட்டி சேலைகளையும் வழங்கினர். கார்னேசன் நகரில் ஏழைகளுக்கு உடைகள் வழங்கினர். கேசிஎஸ் கல்லூரி அருகே உள்ள 100 மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு இலவச பாடப் புத்தகங்கள், ஸ்கூல் பைகள் வழங்கினர்.

மேலும் அரசுப் பள்ளியில் படித்து அதிக மதிப்பெண்கள் பெற்ற 10 மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு கம்ப்யூட்டர்களை வழங்கினர். இந்த விழாவில் விஜய்யின் தந்தை இயக்குநர் எஸ் ஏ சந்திரசேகரன் பங்கேற்றார்.

பின்னர் அவர் பேசுகையில், "விஜய்யின் பிறந்த நாளான ஜூன் 22-ம் தேதி யாரும் எதிர்ப்பார்க்காத வலகையில் பெரிய உதவிகள் அறிவிக்கப்படும்," என்றார்.

இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் விஜய் மன்ற மாநில பொறுப்பாளர் புஸ்ஸி ஆனந்த், செயலாளர் ரவிராஜா, பிஆர்ஓ பிடி செல்வகுமார் ஆகியோர் பங்கேற்றனர்.

Dir. Raja Birthday Celebration At Velayudham Shooting Spot

Director M Jayam Raja celebrated his birthday (May 30, 2011) on the sets of his Velayudham in Binny Mills.

The hero of the film Vijay surprised everybody by arranging a cake cutting ceremony during a break.

A chocolate cake was cut in the presence of unit and Raja’s family.

Vijay and Raja have struck a friendship during the making of the film and bonded well.

Remember that Vijay is the first big hero, Raja is working with, as he had done all his Tamil films with his brother Jayam Ravi.
